My Device is Not Active, how to make active
if your device says inactive, then either the power is out, internet is down, the network is misconfigured, or the software on the device is not talking to our server (this sometimes happens when their is a quick power glitch. Usually a power cycle will solve the problem.) 

We've seen people register there devices out of the box, they change something in the networking, breaking the devices view of the internet by not putting proper gateway, mask or dns servers. If you didn't change the networking configuration this is not your problem. 

The best thing to try is to reboot the device in question and see if that fixes the problem. 

A power glitch sometimes can hang random software processes on a device, and a power cycle fixes these problems. 

The other big problem cause is wifi interference, this can start or occur if a neighbor starts up a wifi access point on the same channel and is a heavy user. This may cause random dropouts and devices bouncing from active to not active. Changing your WIFI channel can help greatly here, but use the 1,6,11 rule (IE only select channel 1,6 or 11) as all other channels interfere more with others and hog spectrum (be a good neighbor) 

Lastly if you are still having issues check the Yoics remote access status page and run the diagnostics if your device has them, you can also check the logs. Likely your solution will be told there, if not contact Yoics Support with your Yoics ID and Device manufacture and yoics name.

The problem is with yoics not wanting to let me see the camera and use it. I had no problem connecting
the camera, and using it with a desktop, with no webcam installed. The only problem there was making
all the files visible on the hard drive

When I first connected usb to camera, it would not let me see it, only wanted to connect to the webcam, which I do not want to because the computer is in the house & the astak camera is in the barn

Largely useless. Where is a link back to main page? We are stuck in support. Where is camera? These might be useful to know.

I need help getting an inactive camera back online. Anyone have answers to this? I am connected via Ethernet cable but still no camera to activate on new wi fi
